Massage work with Graham. My pec minor is extraordinarily tight, and this was equal parts agony and relief. I strongly recommend getting regular work done.

Training Thoughts of the Week

I am being slightly dishonest in that I did exactly 1 round of Jiu Jitsu. I did it light and with Black belt Amanda. This meant it was proper training- technical, fast, sharp, and unlikely to cause injury. I enjoyed it so much that it was the highlight of my training week. I’ll being doing some light sparring tomorrow night and I cannot wait. Oh how I love it so…

Non-Training Thoughts of the Week

I recorded a podcast (the one I’m quality checking now) with Nathan last week, and it is my favourite one yet. We chatted about the past and the present. He and I have been together a long time and I wanted to talk to him about what it was like to come through adolescence with martial arts. It is really good. I’m really happy, and it’s quite personal at times. So keep an eye out for it. It’ll be released soon.

See you on the mat,

Barry
