2025 Training Log Part 18

On the stereo today- PJ Harvey- To Bring You My Love

Last week was decent without being spectacular.

Monday

Run 3k

  1. Decline bench 5×5
  2. Machine Row 3×10
  3. Feet Inclined Push Ups 3×15
  4. Single arm machine press 3×12
  5. Swiss Ball Plank 3x60s
  6. Pushdowns 3×15
  7. EZ Curls 3×15

Quick couple of rounds.

Tuesday

Run 3k

Lower Body Day

  1. Nordic curls 5×10
  2. Single bell overhead squat 3×10
  3. Famer/Waiter Carry
  4. Incline weighted crunch 3×15
  5. Quad raise 3×15

Wednesday

Run- 3k

5 rounds, fairly light and enjoyable.

Thursday

Run 3k

Friday

Pump Club

  1. Bench 3×10
  2. Single arm press 3xmax
  3. Face Pulls 3×12
  4. Single arm cable row 3×10
  5. Ab work
  6. Squat curls 3×10
  7. Half curls 2xmax
  8. Overhead Extension 3×15
  9. Single Arm pushdown 3×10

Saturday

Good training for 90 minutes. Tough for a few rounds, easier for others. Tried to target some purple, brown and blacks.

Training Thoughts of the Week

I have none. My mind is a blank. It was an average week of training. I’m happy with that.

Non-Training Thoughts of the Week

It’s birthday season here. That’s a month of birthdays in our house, 1 a week for 4 weeks! Lots of cake and opportunities to make a pig of oneself. Not good for the man thinking about -88kg in June. But who cares! I’m 47 this month! I’ll take the heavier weight class and enjoy the cake!
