I’m currently beavering away preparing Informed Performance for the grand opening, which we project will be done 100% by the end of July. So my days are mostly spent painting, waiting on deliveries, organising work and answering the many enquiries we’ve had so far. Also, while this has been going on, I’ve been teaching classes too, so it’s been pretty hectic.
This was Monday night:

On Monday we focussed on lateral movement, and in particular, the step around. Moving at angles is vital to fighting and in this vid you can see the guys implementing it on the pads with varying degrees of success.
This was later in the same class. We’ve been missing our Saturday sessions so I made up for it with this little 20 minute team challenge.

Basically there were 8 rounds of two minutes each. Each pair had to get as many completed of whatever task they had. I think I’m forgetting some of them:
Med ball chest pass from the knees, run after it, chest pass back. Up and back is 1
Push up walk
Bag lunge
Wheelbarrow
Squat and sprint
Farmer’s Walk
Sprints
Everyone was hanging after them, and Glen and Grant got the highest score to take it.
We are going to have soooooo much fun.
It will be like playschool.
