I had one of those days today where nothing seemed to go right. I started this morning with my arse dragging along the round into the gym and things didn’t improve as the day went on. I’m tired and off to bed in a moment, but I’ll update the last couple of day’s training first. I have some time tomorrow when i’ll put up a substantial post on an interesting topic, but right now all that interests me is my duvet.
Wednesday
Morning
5 rounds of boxing, some strength work (about 50% of 50% of a session)
Evening
Super session in the Gi at Jiu Jitsu. Rolled with everyone in the room for 5 minute rounds with a 1 minute break. No easy rolls all night. Some of the boys are getting so good that sooner or later I’m going to have to break out my A game. One of these days I will.
Thursday
Today was a washout. Paddy texted me at 10am saying that he had been “shitting through the eye of a needle” (sorry Paddy, had to mention that), so I just padded for a couple of the boys and then got my bodyfats done. Woohoo, down a lot, a shit load in fact.
Evening
More scuppered plans. I had planned to train pretty hard tonight considering I had a missed session this morning, but alas, coaching duties struck and I had to strength test a guy. I managed to squeeze in 4 hard rounds of pads with Tony at the end of the night to knock some cobwebs off though, so not a total loss.
