I think when this whole fight night thing has blown over, I’m going to take a large holiday and get a crack cocaine habit. It’s the only thing for it. Lots to do, not a lot of time to do it in. Managing fighters, checking weights, getting weight down, getting cardio up, micromanagement of the team, getting lighting and sound organised, organising the erection of the ring, organising the bannering, printing, sponsors, ticket sales, bar staff, medical staff, bar supplies, ambulance crews and on and on and on. The way I see it, crack cocaine addiction will allow me to concentrate on something else like robbing people’s handbags to feed my habit, hence totally forgetting the stress of this event. Never again. They say though that women forget the pain of child labour after a while due to the fact that other nature wants them to go again. So… maybe.
Anyway I’ve been getting really good feedback on the show and it’s all starting to come together. The lads are looking really good too and I really think they’ve benefitted from being in that team environment together, training together. There’s been a lot of shouting and pushing people on and there’s been some huge strides made. I’m really looking forward to seeing the guys fight now!
Hehhehehehheh…you said erection.
